BC Children’s Hospital offers these young sibling support groups at no cost to families. It is an online monthly peer group for 8-11 year old siblings who have a sibling with a chronic health condition and/or disability. No referral is needed and it is not diagnosis based.

Discovery Passage Aquarium provides mobile and on-site marine education programs for kindergarten to grade 12 students. Programs include live animals, hands-on activities, and curriculum-aligned lessons that support science learning and environmental literacy. The Immigrant Welcome Centre is hosting an after-school adventure club every Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the 麻豆原创 Secondary School library. The adventure club is open to all youth 12+ regardless of immigration status.
Children’s Health Foundation of Vancouver Island is hosting an Islands-wide art show for kids and teens 18 and under. Every piece of art submitted will be displayed in an online gallery and considered for their 2026 wall calendar. 12 pieces will be selected. Deadline for submissions is September 30, 2025. Healthy Minds BC has created an online learning resource for parents and caregivers called “Walking Alongside Youth with Depression” or WAY. It is designed to provide parents and others caring for a child or youth experiencing mild to moderate depression with practical and accessible information, tools and insights for use in daily life.
